There are a lot of fun things you can do with a private pilot license. Flying is so much fun and here are a few ideas of things you can do once you become a pilot. You can take your date up just before dark and watch the beautiful sunset from the best place possible. You don't miss anything and nothing is blocking your view. It is so romantic to see the sun's colors in the sky with your date. If you are a morning person, the sunrise is just as spectacular.

Another idea is to go flying during the fall and see the changing leaves and the beautiful colors the trees create on the ground. One trip you can make if you want to fly and don't really have a destination in mind, is to find a river and follow it to the mouth. This is fun because you are using the river for navigation and it probably winds back and forth, so you get to make some good turns along the way.
