Did you know that the majority of people in this world have no more than one pair of shoes? Many even go barefoot their whole lives.

Now, I'm not trying to make you feel bad (like when you were told, "Think of all the poor hungry children in China and eat your dinner.”) But, if you're reading this, then you probably have a computer. And, I bet you also have more than one pair of shoes.

We're blessed in our society by abundance, but we often don't appreciate what we've got. And, that's a big mistake!

Why? Because the saying that goes "The rich get richer,” is absolutely true. It's sort of a universal law, like the law of gravity. It works like this: if you don't feel rich, then the universe doesn't consider you rich and therefore, according to this law, you won't "get richer.”

The Bible says, "To those who have, it will be given.” Now maybe this seems unfair to you, but universal laws don't always go along with our self-made rules of fairness. If you look around you and observe how things are working out there in the world, you will see the truth in this biblical passag

What's my point? The point is, if you want more of the things in your life that you really care about, then you must appreciate more of the things that you already have. You need to start feeling as "rich” as you really are!

This is not my rule. It's just the way things work. When you appreciate what you have, you feel rich. When you feel rich, you attract more riches to yourself. Because, "The rich get richer.”

Why not give it a try? Look at your feet and you'll see that abundance is yours - all you have to do is appreciate it!
