Many have said the members of our society who cannot read are at such a severe disadvantage that they cannot excel in life or climb to the next level of society. That is to say they cannot go from lower class to middle class or from middle class to upper class. Before 1970 most all the Billionaires did not finish High School, yet this is no longer the norm. In the present period with all the rules for business and the complicated process of politics for favors and licensing and regulation it often takes much more education to become a billionaire.

Literacy problems are at issue in the United States and everywhere in the World for that matter. Is reading the key to human education, is that the proper way to teach and the best way for the human mind to learn? We see that books which contain symbols, which make up words which each have definitions and once these symbols and words are learned that they can be used to ignite imagination or stored memory frame bursting visualization in the mind.

Using these symbols and combinations of symbols (words) to represent people, places, things and events is a way to power the brain, or train a brain. Now then this is a way to impart information. Yet if you think about it this information can also be used to blind a mind to actual reality thru brain washing with words. Reading is not necessarily understanding and understanding is not necessarily seeing, writing or discussing. So, whereas I hear where people are coming from who discuss literacy issues and reading and tend to agree, one must be careful not to miss format their brain into believing or perceiving to understand from reading 2D symbols in a 3D world on a 2 dimensional paper in a mind, which is not to be trapped in anything that limited.

The human mind has evolved and is now therefore designed to do much more you see. Philosophically speaking of course. Education fails us and limits our minds when we believe that we can teach humans

to think in such an archaic method and expect them to excel in thought and innovation. There is not much difference than the ancient texts found on Egyptian Walls or Roman Scrolls.

Indeed reading may be a way to hide information as well as departing it and therefore can be used to purposely or accidentally blind one to the actual reality. And since many are Christian types, it is not wise to go into the control aspects of religion in the present period or subsequent past periods, as to discuss such blasphemy is still a sure and quick way to dismissed from a human society. And in similar aspects one should be careful to of their comments on nationalism, tribalism or collective egoism or any of the other aspects, which cloud judgment or put up barriers to using whole track thinking. (rule #1 when racing use the whole track) or whole mind.

Soon, we must push humankind forward to the next step for all benefits of all mankind into a new paradigm of "Knowing" and "Understanding" I believe that time is now, regardless of categorization of individual human, religion, nationality, regional living space, government or customs. I hope this discussion has not been to esoteric, lucid or philosophical for you to follow. If it is read it again a few times and try to consider these points, as they came straight from my mind to this keyboard for one reason only. To propel thought. So please think on it.
