Human Beings are said to be divine and made in the image of their god; well at least that is the folklore, but what is the true reality of the situation? Have you considered this? Well, recently in an online think tank the principle investigator of the "Why are Humans Unique Project” announced they would be doing experimentation to determine if indeed humans are truly unique. The head researcher planning the project and research stated:

"In order to keep our results accurate, it is important that we establish an maintain a level of discipline to safeguard the integrity of the analytical process from our own emotional feelings or opinions. The scenario requires that we present our arguments by means of scientific data, and for this, we must approach and treat the problem consistently if we expect to uphold our results.”

One of the online think tank members challenged this project and said: "Well, you know this is really silly, as we have all had enough observations to know that people (humans) are just like animals; since no observations or evidence to the contrary exists; scientific or otherwise the conclusion is that:

"Humans are a Different Species of Animals”

I challenge anyone to submit to me or to the scientific community anything to the contrary. Your "Scenario” of classifying things to scientifically prove that humans are not animals or that humans are a

nimals does not make sense because that is just academic jibberish; who says we have to classify.”

Interesting take on the project, but hey that is the scientific community for your; always challenging the system. Indeed this project in doing so there will be people I imagine in both camps. For instance; those who wish to prove that humans are not animals will simply put into the human classification every single different they can find and say see? Humans are different. Those who wish to prove humans are the same will make classifications, which have similarities.

"Indeed it is silly spend all the time to prove what is already known by observation.” States another think tanker. But really the think tank is interested in hearing from you the public. What do you think? Have you considered this? We ask you to think on this in 2006.
