Can we stop a killer bee swarm by disrupting their swarming signal with a directional sound beam? One think tank member in an online think tank believes so. In fact if it can be done, which appears to be a good possibility we can save our citizens from unnecessary deaths from killer bees.
One think tank member stated; "The American Technology Corporation device is imperative to even consider doing field or lab experiments on disrupting a bee's flight characteristics or disrupting the swarm signal.”
I disagree, I think you can make a sound wave directional device is fairly easily, as they are quite simple and many people sell antennas and such for all kinds of things. It is not top secret or anything like that any more.

But that is not to say that a directional sound device is not a good idea only that there are many companies making this stuf
This technology is available and easy to get a hold of. We need to try to see if we can disrupt a killer bee swarm using directional sound and stop it in its tracks. Consider all this in 2006.
