As spring is here and summer is around the corner, the planning for charity events and church picnics is in full swing. Before every event there is always talk amongst the planners on how you can keep the event lively and exciting. Having run a few church events I can say that cornhole is the perfect answer!

Since cornhole (or bean bags, corn toss, or soft shoes) is a popular backyard game in the summer, it is the perfect event to keep your guests happy. Not only will the adults be happy, but you can easily set up shorter distances so the kids can play. Its the perfect event from young to old since it doesn't require any physical skill in order to excel.

The prizes for the event don't have to be anything fancy, you can talk to one of your local cornhole providers to donate a custom set to

the winner of each age group. I think people that love to play cornhole are just happy to have a big group of people where they can test their skill.

So, if you want to see big groups of people and a lot of activity at your next charity event, make sure you include cornhole into the mix!
