As the NFL draft for the current year is fast approaching, the anxiety of the millions of NFL fans around the globe is looking for big surprises with high expectations. It would be of interest and use to have a closer look of the ensuing NFL draft.

Looking back to the promising and prospective players, Vince Young is considered to be the hot favorite by many, as he stole the attention after his score of 16. This quarterback from the state of Texas may be slated in the first five during the season. Reggie Bush, the running back of USC known for his range and versatility, and the one who proved his mettle in all the areas like running, receiving, and returning, is a top favourite. Yet another running back, Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart, hailing from Southern California, who showed exemplary maturity in turning down the last years choice as the topper to finish his schooling, is no doubt a player assured of a slot. Besides these, there are other energetic and enthusiastic players eagerly waiting to get drafted to the NFL, a turning point in ones playing career.

the team's side, the first slot may be from the celebrated Houston Texans to add more fire to their offensive lines that has suffered badly in recent years. The New Orleans Saints would be looking forward to picking up a quarterback to add to this armory. The third pick up would be from the Tennessee Titans, who are badly looking for talents. With trade and salary cap agreements getting set in stone, there is no reason to believe the draft won't go off without trouble.
