Is God a figment of our imaginations? Who created who; did God create man or did man create god to help him feel safe and content? Yet in such an argument you will find all sorts of rational as to why God does or doesn't exist. Recently in a think tank a member was discussing technology, life extension, robotic prosthetics and computer chips in the brains of every human to extend memory and help in cognition and was confronted by a well-intentioned man of faith who said; "God is not some mere fancy of imagination or self-imposed hallucination!”
After stating this fact an atheist and technology guru or self-proclaimed wizard of technology of the future stated:
"I totally agree God is not a self-imposed hallucination, fore the folklore is rather a social engineering and learned trait. It is interesting indeed that two think tankers could have such different belief systems and use their belief systems to guide them in completely different directions with regards to the adoption of technology.
