There is a great debate arising in the life sciences as scientists and researchers figure ways to increase your brainpower through technology. Using technologies and techniques in the Bio Sciences most scholars believe that soon they will find a way to safely integrate such technologies as NanoTech, BioTech, computer sciences, artificial intelligence and robotics to help humans become smarter and have add on memory.
However there are many who are of religious faith who believe that this is evil and not part of gods plan? Of course a round Earth was also considered evil as well previously as well. Recently a member of a think tank from England stated in his debate against technology for brain enhancement stated: "And about having a "smarter brain" by way of technological evolution, you do not seem to understand the nature of thought. Your thoughts do not come from physical particles!”
This comment was met with skepticism by another member of the think tank who felt that the UK member had not fully consider the pro-technology brain enhancement of the future and retorted:
"Dear Sir, please do not put words in my mouth. A smarter brain can be achieved by altering chemicals in the brain and modifying brain waves and combination of brain waves. Regarding the nature of thought:

Perhaps, I personally do not yet understand all there is to the flow of thought, but here is a start. Since you are much wiser than I, please state your entire viewpoint of what thought it is, exactly what it is. If you cannot state such, than it is unfair for you to judge my view of what thought is. So far you have indeed, told me what you think, I think thought is, but you are in error Dear Sir and therefore I question your other points in your comments as well.”
The debate was rather encompassing, but you can see the problematic conversational impasse between these think tankers and the hurdles, which will take in the future balancing technology with religious beliefs. Do you have thoughts on such things? Do you have opinions on these matters? Think on this in 2006.
