Relationships: Ending Codependence Forever

What is Co-dependence?

Well in a nutshell its when two individuals form a relationship based on the need to fulfill their mutual needs through the other person.

As you can see there was no mention o the word love in the above definition. That must tell you something about the health of such relationships. Of course you probably already knew that since "codependency" has received a lot of press in the last 15 years most of it bad.

How many relationships exist out there that are based on the foundation of codependence? Well probably over 90% and that's a conservative estimate. No wonder there is such a rash of separation and divorce.

Inherently codependent relationships fail for the simple reason that no one can fulfill another's needs. Especially needs that exist as a result of the failed maturation of the person who has them.

You see needs exist because an individual has stopped growing at some point in their lives. As a result they are not "whole" individuals and therefore have "needs". The opposite of being whole implies "lacking" that which makes one feel whole. Lack of course translates into need!

Therefore if one is lacking they are inherently "needy". So when such individuals face the world as they "grow up" (I mean that in a chronological age sense and not in an emotional sense) they feel incapable of meeting the challenges ahead of them and in this needy state look to others to help them along.

Well what better way than to get into a relationship? Most individuals in this state find themselves pretending to themselves and others that they are ready for a fully committed relationship. When two such individuals meet their blindness for their own and the other's deficits causes them to plunge head first into the arms of the other.

The unspoken message is usually "Here I am, please take care of me!" Of course this becomes edited into "I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

So how does one end this phenomenon

of codependence? Well I'm sure you've figured it out that is if you have enough courage to recognize what is called for.

It entails that you do the work of becoming whole in yourself first.

It turns out that those "needs" that you supposedly have can be addressed rather quickly and easily employing a new modality called the Mind Resonance Process(TM) (MRP) that I have written about extensively here in this ezine.

If you would like to experience MRP kindly visit the web link below and arrange your introductory telephone consultation.
