Have you ever noticed the vocal outspokenness of the gay and lesbian community on gay marriage? Well indeed it gets much worse you see, as there is a group within the gay and lesbian community which I call the gay fringe which is completely out of control, obnoxious and even obscene. You have probably seen these pillars of society at gay parades on TV. But it gets worse, as within that group is a group who will usurp power and even break the law in order to teach you a lesson if you disagree with them.

However when I recently stated this truth in an online forum debate on gay marriage a member of what she called the gay fringe said; "Your statements about the "fringe" are extremely offensive. One conclusion I draw from your statements is that you think every flagrant gay male between the ages of 17 and 28 should be locked up in a psychiatric ward. Do you understand how extraordinarily offensive that is?”

Of course she took my comments and re-worked them, so I stated; "Do you realize how out of context you took my comments and actual verbiage? I indicated to you that I realized that this group often feels alienated and that 20% of the gay fringe uses vindictive, persnickety and unethical behavior, as many fringe groups do. I do feel indeed they are more close to eco-terrorists than anything else I can compare them too. Obviously I am not advocating locking them up. I advocated that the G & L community seek out these fringe fanatics and mentor them if indeed they are trying to pursue a change in the gay marriage laws.”

But you see this gay fringe is so utterly out of control and so w

ay off base that you cannot reason with these fanatical folks and so she proved this by stating: "What you perceive as the "Gay Fringe" is just that segment of LGBT communities that's politically active. And what you're saying is that we shouldn't have such a segment, so shouldn't be politically active.”

That is BS and you know it, I told her. I was not talking about being politically active, I gave an example of borderline criminal threats, extortion, slander and the ever increasing potential of the 20% Gay Fringe, which I believe and have observed to be usually falling into the 17-28 male age group although it seems to be changing more like 18-30. We are not talking all in that age group and not even most, it is a sliver, but they are destroying the LGBT Communities chances for a favorable solution to the Gay Marriage issue from their and your perspective. And stop taking it personal, because it is not personal with me. It is an observation worth noting and it is real, if you deny it, fine, but others see it and they vote. Consider this in 2006.
