There is a lot of talk about democracy in the world and for good reason. We have seen human right violations too long in the human species in so many civilizations throughout past periods. Enough is enough say those who have watched mankind's follies and are determined not to see a replay of the past, dooming us to more of the same.
Just a few months ago a long discussion on Democracy had taken center stage in an online Think Tank Forum. The think tank forum open to all comers who were serious about real issues of the present period, below is an interesting perspective and excerpt of the tail end of one of the long threads which had to do with Iran, Iraq, Africa, China, Cuba and North Korea.
The final comment and statement is a multifaceted and multidimensional issue, when a think tanker stated; "When we speak of spreading Democracy throughout the world the real underlying definition should be stamping out hunger and poverty so people have other things to do then accept the status quo for their own personal survival.”
Now then this is a very intellectual thought in that Democracy is about "Choice” and "Pursuit of Dreams” and remembering the planting, growing, harvesting of the wheat and the preparing, baking and eating of the bread, we must never lose the sight that freedom does not come without cost or responsibility.
