Chances are, you know one or two guys who are really good at picking up women. Find a way to hang out with them. Listen to how they talk to women. Notice how they stand. Check out how much they talk and how much they listen.

Whenever you get the chance, observe people in relationships that seem to work well and listen to the quality of their conversation. Watch how they respond to each other. The depth of their rapport will most often reflect the underlying strength of their bond, and will be visible in their body language.

Here's what P J Chandler, author of 'Beyond Positive Thinking', says about rapport: "The true purpose of creating rapport is not to manipulate or coerce, but to enable you to tell your truth in a way that is meaningful to others, and to enable them to tell their truth in a way that is meaningful to you."

That's pretty near perfect, in my opinion. It's

not about manipulating her, it's about telling your truth so she understands it (and, therefore, you) and listening to her truth so you can more fully understand her.
