Above-Ground Pools

Above-ground pools are the most common and the cheapest pool construction option. Majority of above ground pools are constructed from prefabricated kits, making it easier for an amateur to put the parts together and make it functional. Initially, installers try to level the ground to make a flat surface. After that, they construct a perimeter track which is meant to support the outer wall usually made up of metal, plastic or wood. Then they fill it up with sand and lay the plumbing. At the end, they spread the vinyl liner on the pools walls and fill it up water. These pools are quite easy to install at home.

Vinyl-Lined In-Ground Pools

Vinyl-lined in-ground pools function as above-ground pools and they both have many things in common. In these types of pools, a hole inside the ground is dug and a frame of metal, plastic or wood is placed inside the hole's perimeter. It is generally costlier than above ground pools.

Fiberglass pools

These pools are made up of fiberglass-reinforced plastic, which are designed in the shape of a basin. Its construction is quite similar to in-ground pools, where a hole is dug, covered with the required plumbing, adding some sand filler and lowers the preformed pool structure into the hole.

Gunite pools

In United States, Gunite pools are the number one choice. Their construction is similar as the in-ground pools. However, these types of pools can have tiles and also they can be equipped with fiberglass.
