I'm a simple man, with simple desires, and my main desire at this point was to find the perfect margarita. My search began a few years ago. I don't know about you, but there are some unquenchable drinks out there claiming to be margaritas, either too sweet or just plain rock gut. So every dining experience I have, a taste test ensued much to the chagrin of my wife who just rolls her eyes as yet again I would order a margarita and she would have to listen as I described in detail how imperfect it was.

I'll never forget the day I finally discovered the perfect margarita. My wife and I were returning from a trip to Las Vegas and were waiting for our flight at the airport. While sitting in this little eatery watching all the characters, you can only see in an airport, pass by, we ordered, and of course I had to have the obligatory margarita, as my wife once again rolled her eyes heavenward, I took my first sip… I c

ouldn't believe it… eureka… I had found it the mother load. I called the waitress over, much to the embarrassment of my significant other, and asked for the recipe which she so kindly went and got me, as I jotted it down on the cocktail napkin and our flight was being called, I thought to myself what a perfect ending to a perfect trip. 1 1/2 oz. tequila

1/2 oz. triple sec.

1/2 oz. fresh lime juice

3 oz. sweet & sour mix Pour into shaker over cracked ice, shake 10 seconds and serve on the rocks!
