When you get a bank account with online access is there a high risk of identity theft? Truthfully, if you use it incorrectly, there may be. It is not one you should fear, but whether or not you use it is a personal decision. Once you are signed up to access your bank account online, there are some options and services you may have. Many advanced options include some wonderful things you may enjoy doing from home. You may be able to transfer money between your accounts, pay bills straight from your account, and even is able to create or change an existing account. Keep an eye on the website's policies, though, as some options may carry fees. Always ask and inform yourself before signing up for anything through the website that was not already set up for you.
